A few things...

A couple of questions have come my way that may be of use to everyone:

1. homework submitted by email. I will respond to each of your emails to let you know I received it and was able to open the attachment. If I don't respond to you, it means I didn't receive a message from you. If you don't hear from me -- please double-check or resubmit.

I will let you know in a few weeks if I'm missing assignments from you.

2. Citations. You've probably noticed that articles from databases like ProQuest or Lexis Nexis have URLs in the browser that seem to be the unique URL for that article (they are usually really long with lots of = or & or $$). Some articles also have a different URL at the bottom of the article itself. Database URLs are not stable -- that means if you copy that URL and paste it into the browser tomorrow, there is no guarantee you'll get to that article again. And the direct URL won't work from off-campus anyway, since the databases authenticate users from the Library Homepage.

So, that means you don't need that entire long URL in the citation. For an article from ProQuest, you can use www.proquest.com in the citation. For Lexis, www.lexisnexis.com etc.
